By day, I’m an aerospace engineer—but my passion lies behind the lens. My technical background influences the way I approach photography: with precision, curiosity, and a deep respect for process. I’m drawn to the variables I can control—color spaces, calibration, printer profiles, and camera settings—which creates a structured foundation for creativity to thrive.
My journey in photography began in 2008, when I took an elective course in high school just to fill a gap in my schedule. What started as a casual curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion (and maybe even a bit of an obsession). I fell in love with every stage of the process: capturing a meaningful image, refining it in post-production, and finally printing it—turning a moment into something lasting and tangible.
Family Portraits
Photography is a powerful way to preserve memory. I approach each portrait session with care and intention, aiming to tell your family's story in a way that’s honest, timeless, and beautifully composed.
Printmaking
To me, a photograph isn’t truly complete until it exists as a physical object—something you can hold, display, and revisit. I work with both historic processes like cyanotype, gum bichromate, and salt printing, as well as archival-quality inkjet printing. Each print is crafted with the goal of longevity and visual impact.
Education
As a former educator, I’m passionate about making complex photographic concepts accessible. I offer hands-on workshops in studio lighting, digital printing, and historic photographic printing techniques. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that “aha” moment when a concept clicks for a student.
