I'm a Washington, DC–based photographer working across several intersecting fields:
Over the past few years, my practice has evolved alongside my daily life and shifting interests. During the pandemic, I focused heavily on natural light portraiture and landscape photography. As travel became more accessible post-vaccine, I came across a fully manual 35mm Minolta camera—an encounter that sparked a deep dive into black-and-white film, large format photography, and historic alternative process printing.
While exploring film, I also discovered studio lighting, which opened up a new realm of creative possibilities. Though I shoot less film now, working within its limitations taught me to be intentional—when you only have 10 shots, every frame counts. That mindset remains central to my work today. I aim to capture images that are meaningful, lasting, and worthy of being printed on fine art paper—fleeting moments transformed into something permanent.
